APPETIZER RECIPES : TOMATO TOAST

Tomato Toast starter recipe...an simple and delicious one !

Fixings:

* 1 quart of tomatoes

* Salt

* Pepper

* Run of cayenne

* 1 tablespoon of sugar

* 2 tablespoons margarine

* Nutmeg

* 4 cuts of wheat bread

* Weighty cream, whipped

Guidelines

1. Stew tomatoes and season pleasantly with salt, pepper, a sprinkle of cayenne, sugar, and spread.

2. A tiny nutmeg or mace might be added whenever enjoyed with a smidgen of onion juice.

3. Toast slender cuts of whole wheat bread to an even, fragile brown; put them on a hot platter and soak somewhat with boiling water and dissolved spread.

4. Cover the toast with the hot tomato. Not long prior to serving, put 1 spoonful of thick, whipped cream on the highest point of each cut.

5. This is a great breakfast or lunch dish to present with a plain omelet and fresh cuts of bacon.
